What is Sports Massage?

Sports Massage is a performance-focused treatment designed for athletes and active individuals, although I welcome people of all fitness levels. 

It is a full therapy of its own, using advanced techniques such as deep tissue work, myofascial release, and learning the best stretches to improve flexibility, reduce muscle fatigue, and prevent injury.

This treatment targets the muscles most involved in your sport or activity, and will help with your performance and recovery, as well as maintaining optimal condition.

What to expect from your treatment

We will begin your session with a discussion and consultation: I will assess your posture, range of movements, and muscle imbalance to identify any potential problems, and we will discuss what your expectations are for this treatment.

The massage in itself combines dynamic movements, trigger point therapy, and assisted stretches to release all tensions and restore balance.

I will use firm and purposeful pressure, tailored to your goals and needs.

After the treatment, you can expect an improved range of motion, reduced soreness, and a noticeable boost in muscle function.
